Test of Tokina AT-X 535 Pro DX AF 50-135 mm f/2.8
8. Vignetting

The situation is good at 50 mm. Here, at f/2.8, light falloff in corners is 18% (-0.57 f-stops) and when we stop down aperture to f/4 it lowers to 5% - a level which is insignificant.
Situation is worse for longer focal lengths but never reaches level that would make us complain about it. At 90 mm, f/2.8 vignetting is 18% ( -0.75 f-stops). And again, if we stop down aperture to f/4 it almost disappears (10%).
At 135 mm, f/2.8 light falloff in corners is 27% ( -0.91 f-stops). Here stopping down aperture to f/4 did not fix the problem and vignetting was still noticeable at level of 12%. However it almost disappeared (6%) when we stopped down to f/5.6.
In this category Tokina again won with Sigma, which at maximum aperture scored between 24% - 33%.
